Our house was having heating issues as far back as December '17. The week of Christmas we had a licensed HVAC professional out who performed a 15 minute diagnostic and determined it was a bad capacitor and we had it changed out. Ok great, it's fixed.
Christmas Eve rolls around and I noticed the heater still isn't firing correctly, so we called out the same company, and their tech determined (and cleaned) the sensor. Ok, great...
Not two weeks later the unit acted up again. This time I called another HVAC specialist who took two hours out of his day to perform a deep cleaning of the unit. He also changed another part, re-aligned the sensor, and removed unnecessary wiring.
Unfortunately that STILL didn't fix our heating issues. This past week we had a 3rd company come out and perform a diagnostic, but rather than attempt to locate and fix the issue, they instead tried to sell us a $7500 heater. No thanks.
Fianlly, Top-Tec was called. Joe set us up with two techs, Bert and Cory, and boy I couldn't be happier. Both techs spent two hours testing everything (heater and A/C) and determined the control board was the main issue, replaced it for us, and fixed a few other things that were set up incorrectly saving us thousands of dollars with a new heater.
They'll be our first call next time we have an issue (hopefully we don't).
Thanks Top-Tec!
